You can see the finished console here.
View the source of my exit console (right click/view source) and grab the javascript from the <head></head> portion of that page. You can paste it right into your exit console html page. Be sure to change the link of Janey's girlfriends page to your own.
IMPORTANT! You must add the snippet of code onUnload="rg()"
into your <body></body> tags.

Also: you don't want your exit console to fire if your surfer clicks on one of your links on your exit console. I've made my links on the exit console open in a new window. I used my html editor to do that.( target=blank)

Whew: You've tested your exit console and it's working? It's all tweaked?

Ok.. now we must install the our exit console on Janey's redhead.htm

Now: You will want to take a look at Janey's page with all the javascript installed.
Here it is!
You may view the source and take my exit console script from the <head></head> section of my page. You will need to replace the url to your exit console as well as the width and height. Remember, to also add the snippet of code onUnload="rg()" into your <body></body> tags of your page.

Since you don't want your exit to fire when your surfer ENTERS your website you'll add this code to your href. onClick="exit=false"
It looks like this
<a href="welcome.htm" onClick="exit=false">

Any links that you have on your page should have the onClick="exit=false"
in the code or your exit will fire.

Time out for some Q and A:
Q: Well, I fired my girlfriends page but it only popped up in a little window. Why? Janey's popped up full screen.
A: I know! On my girlfriends page I added a little snippet of java script that looks like this.

It goes (of course) in your <head></head> tags.

That little java script will make your page open to full screen so it will overwrite the dimensions you've added in the javascript call on redhead.htm. You could, of course, just make your dimensions on your exit console java script be 800x800 if you like. I've left the scroll bars and resizing as 'yes' so my surfer isn't stuck.

Q: Well, I found a bunch of redhead popup lists to sign up for. I only have 5 ad spots on my rotator on redhead.htm!!!
A:Yeah baby! There's a ton of hot lists to feed your redhead page. So, you will want to copy your redhead page and call it redhead2.htm.
You can keep making pages as many as you want and just keep linking. As your traffic grows, you'll be able to move your links around so that the sites that send the most traffic can feed the pages that need a push. You'll figure out the flow of your traffic and see how you can move it to keep your lists owners getting
enough traffic so your return is good.

OK.. Now, Janey has a mess of redhead lovers coming to see Janey's page redhead.htm
What other niches will Janey benefit from?? BUSTY!
You bet! I'm going to repeat the entire process from the perspective that my surfer wants to see busty girls. I'll start at the top and recreate Janey's index page calling it.

busty.htm
And so on it goes.... that will keep you plenty busy.

Let's take another approach getting hits. Your subsequent pages of your tour are great places to add an exit console. This marketing concept works great on linear tours (page one> page two > etc). Although Janey uses it and her site is not linear. Basically if your surfer shuts down any page on our tour you want him to get an exit console. You can create an exit console that offers your surfer a trial membership and then upon him shutting that exit console down have your girlfriends page fire full screen. Or you can give him your links out, if you don't offer a trial. We've used this type of console on tours and sometimes just on the join page. If they shut down or back out of the join page, then we definately will give him an opportunity to join by a trial then give him our friends page.

When is this not so good. When you have a tour that allows your surfer to meander about. If they are coming back to a central menu page you'll want to be careful and make sure that your exit only fires when they close down the page entirely. You don't want to send him away prematurely..

If you do wish to use this marketing which will further gain you traffic as you squeeze
every last click from your visitor, please BE SURE to add onClick="exit=false"
on any link that your surfer will use to move about your site. This includes your naviagation!!
